I was walking along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he heard a man reciting, "Say, He is Allah, the One." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is guaranteed."I asked him, "What is guaranteed, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Paradise."Abu Hurairah said, "I wanted to go to the man and give him the good news, but then I feared I would miss the midday meal with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so I chose the meal with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instead. When I later went to look for the man, I found that he had already gone."
و حدثني عن مالك عن عبيد الله بن عبد الرحمن عن عبيد بن حنين مولى آل زيد بن الخطاب أنه قال
أقبلت مع رسول الله ﷺ فسمع رجلا يقرأ قل هو الله أحد فقال رسول الله ﷺ وجبت فسألته ماذا يا رسول الله فقال الجنة فقال أبو هريرة فأردت أن أذهب إليه فأبشره ثم فرقت أن يفوتني الغداء مع رسول الله ﷺ فآثرت الغداء مع رسول الله ﷺ ثم ذهبت إلى الرجل فوجدته قد ذهب
