A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, the livestock have perished and the roads have been cut off. Pray to Allah for us."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed, and it rained on us from one Friday to the next.Then a man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, the houses have collapsed, the roads are cut off, and the livestock have perished."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah, let it fall on the tops of the mountains and the hills, in the valley beds, and where the trees grow."And the clouds drew back from Madinah the way a garment is pulled away.
و حدثني عن مالك عن شريك بن عبد الله بن أبي نمر
جاء رجل إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله هلكت المواشي وتقطعت السبل فادع الله فدعا رسول الله ﷺ فمطرنا من الجمعة إلى الجمعة قال فجاء رجل إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله تهدمت البيوت وانقطعت السبل وهلكت المواشي فقال رسول الله ﷺ اللهم ظهور الجبال والآكام وبطون الأودية ومنابت الشجر قال فانجابت عن المدينة انجياب الثوب
