Abdullah bin Umar used to say that if a sick person is unable to perform sujud, he should gesture with his head and not raise anything up to his forehead.
و حدثني عن مالك
أن عبد الله بن عمر كان يقول إذا لم يستطع المريض السجود أومأ برأسه إيماء ولم يرفع إلى جبهته شيئا
