Abu Dharr reported,

Smoothing the pebbles may be done with a single pass of the hand, but leaving it undone is better than red camels.

و حدثني عن مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد أنه بلغه أن

أبا ذر كان يقول

مسح الحصباء مسحة واحدة وتركها خير من حمر النعم
