Ibn Umar stayed in Makkah for ten nights, shortening the prayer, unless he prayed with the imam, in which case he prayed as the imam prayed.

أن ابن عمر أقام بمكة عشر ليال يقصر الصلاة إلا أن يصليها مع الإمام فيصليها بصلاته
