The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in two cycles of prayer, then he stood up and did not sit, so the people stood with him. When he had completed his prayer and we were waiting for his closing salutation, he proclaimed Allah's greatness and then performed two prostrations while seated, before the closing salutation, and then he gave the salutation.
حدثني يحيى عن مالك عن ابن شهاب عن الأعرج
صلى لنا رسول الله ﷺ ركعتين ثم قام فلم يجلس فقام الناس معه فلما قضى صلاته ونظرنا تسليمه كبر ثم سجد سجدتين وهو جالس قبل التسليم ثم سلم
