My family and I stopped at Baqi al-Gharqad, and my family said to me, "Go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ask him for something we can eat," and they began mentioning how needy they were.So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found a man with him asking him for something, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was saying, "I have nothing to give you."The man turned away from him angrily, saying, "By my life, you give to whomever you please."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is angry with me because I have nothing to give him. Whoever among you begs while he possesses an ounce of silver or its equivalent has begged insistently."Asadi said, "I thought to myself, our milk camel is worth more than an ounce."
