Anas bin Malik reported,

Abu Talha was the wealthiest of the Ansar in Madinah in terms of date palms, and the property he loved most was Bayruha, which faced the masjid. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go into it and drink from a sweet spring of water there.Anas said that when this verse was revealed, "You will never attain righteousness until you spend from what you love" [Al Imran 3:92], Abu Talha went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, Allah says, 'You will never attain righteousness until you spend from what you love' [Al Imran 3:92], and the property I love most is Bayruha. I give it away as charity for the sake of Allah, hoping for its righteousness and for it to be stored up for me with Allah. So place it wherever you wish, Messenger of Allah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Excellent! That is profitable property, that is profitable property. I have heard what you said about it, and I think you should give it to your close relatives."Abu Talha said, "I will do so, Messenger of Allah."So Abu Talha divided it among his relatives and his cousins.

و حدثني مالك عن إسحق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة أنه

سمع أنس بن مالك يقول

كان أبو طلحة أكثر أنصاري بالمدينة مالا من نخل وكان أحب أمواله إليه بيرحاء وكانت مستقبلة المسجد وكان رسول الله ﷺ يدخلها ويشرب من ماء فيها طيب قال أنس فلما أنزلت هذه الآية {لن تنالوا البر حتى تنفقوا مما تحبون} قام أبو طلحة إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إن الله تبارك وتعالى يقول {لن تنالوا البر حتى تنفقوا مما تحبون} وإن أحب أموالي إلي بيرحاء وإنها صدقة لله أرجو برها وذخرها عند الله فضعها يا رسول الله حيث شئت قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ بخ ذلك مال رابح ذلك مال رابح وقد سمعت ما قلت فيه وإني أرى أن تجعلها في الأقربين فقال أبو طلحة أفعل يا رسول الله فقسمها أبو طلحة في أقاربه وبني عمه
