A man said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "May I lie to my wife, Messenger of Allah?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "There is no good in lying."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, may I make her promises and speak kindly to her?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ answered, "There is no blame on you for that."

أن رجلا قال لرسول الله ﷺ أكذب امرأتي يا رسول الله فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا خير في الكذب فقال الرجل يا رسول الله أعدها وأقول لها فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا جناح عليك
