The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped, and Abu Taybah was the one who cupped him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that he be given a saa of dates, and he instructed his masters to reduce the amount of his levy.
حدثني مالك عن حميد الطويل
احتجم رسول الله ﷺ حجمه أبو طيبة فأمر له رسول الله ﷺ بصاع من تمر وأمر أهله أن يخففوا عنه من خراجه
