Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabia reported,

We prayed the morning prayer behind Umar bin Khattab, and he recited Surah Yusuf and Surah Hajj in it, reciting slowly.I said, "By Allah, then he must have begun standing in prayer as soon as Fajr broke."He replied, "Yes."
