Nafi reported,

Ibn Umar would have his supper brought to him, and though he could hear the imam reciting while he was in his house, he would not hurry away from his food until he had taken what he needed from it.

أن ابن عمر كان يقرب إليه عشاؤه فيسمع قراءة الإمام وهو في بيته فلا يعجل عن طعامه حتى يقضي حاجته منه
