Yahya bin Saeed reported,

A man greeted Abdullah bin Umar, saying, "Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings, and those that come at morning and those that come at evening."Abdullah bin Umar replied, "And upon you a thousandfold." Then it seemed that he disapproved of that.

عن يحيى بن سعيد

أن رجلا سلم على عبد الله بن عمر فقال السلام عليك ورحمة الله وبركاته والغاديات والرائحات فقال له عبد الله بن عمر وعليك ألفا ثم كأنه كره ذلك
