Whenever Abdullah bin Umar missed part of the prayer led by the imam in which the imam recited aloud, he would rise after the imam gave the closing salutation and recite for himself in the portion he was making up, reciting aloud.

أن عبد الله بن عمر كان إذا فاته شيء من الصلاة مع الإمام فيما جهر فيه الإمام بالقراءة أنه إذا سلم الإمام قام عبد الله بن عمر فقرأ لنفسه فيما يقضي وجهر
