The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man visits someone who is ill, he wades through mercy, and once he sits down beside him, that mercy settles within him." Or words to that effect.
حدثني عن مالك: أنه بلغه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إذا عاد الرجل المريض، خاض الرحمة، حتى إذا قعد عنده قرت فيه. أو نحو هذا.
