Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, he would recite the surahs seeking refuge over himself and then breathe out lightly. She said, "When his illness grew severe, I was the one who recited over him, and I would wipe him with his own right hand, hoping for its blessing."
و حدثني عن مالك عن ابن شهاب عن عروة بن الزبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا اشتكى يقرأ على نفسه بالمعوذات وينفث قالت فلما اشتد وجعه كنت أنا أقرأ عليه وأمسح عليه بيمينه رجاء بركتها
