The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Adam and Musa debated with one another, and Adam prevailed over Musa.Musa said to him, "You are Adam, the one who led people astray and caused them to be expelled from the Garden."Adam replied, "You are Musa, the one to whom Allah gave knowledge of everything and whom He chose above all people with His message."Musa said, "Yes."Adam said, "Then do you blame me for something that was decreed for me before I was even created?"
و حدثني عن مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال تحاج آدم وموسى فحج آدم موسى قال له موسى أنت آدم الذي أغويت الناس وأخرجتهم من الجنة فقال له آدم أنت موسى الذي أعطاه الله علم كل شيء واصطفاه على الناس برسالته قال نعم قال أفتلومني على أمر قد قدر علي قبل أن أخلق
