Abu Hurairah used to lead them in prayer, and he would call out "Allah is the greatest" every time he went down and every time he rose. When he finished, he said, "By Allah, my prayer is the closest of yours to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ"
و حدثني عن مالك عن ابن شهاب
أن أبا هريرة كان يصلي لهم فيكبر كلما خفض ورفع فإذا انصرف قال والله إني لأشبهكم بصلاة رسول الله ﷺ
