Umar bin Khattab put to death a group of men, five or seven of them, for a single man whom they had killed by treachery. Umar said, "If all the people of Sanaa had joined together against him, I would have killed them all."
و حدثني يحيى عن مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد
أن عمر بن الخطاب قتل نفرا خمسة أو سبعة برجل واحد قتلوه قتل غيلة وقال عمر لو تمالأ عليه أهل صنعاء لقتلتهم جميعا
