The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the call to prayer is given, do not come to it running. Come to it walking calmly, and pray whatever part of it you catch, and complete whatever you have missed, for as long as one of you is making his way toward the prayer, he is already in prayer."
و حدثني عن مالك عن العلاء بن عبد الرحمن بن يعقوب عن أبيه وإسحق بن عبد الله أنهما أخبراه أنهما
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا ثوب بالصلاة فلا تأتوها وأنتم تسعون وأتوها وعليكم السكينة فما أدركتم فصلوا وما فاتكم فأتموا فإن أحدكم في صلاة ما كان يعمد إلى الصلاة
