Malik reported,

A man of the Ansar, from the tribe of Harith bin Khazraj, gave some property as charity to his parents. Then they died, and their son inherited the property, being the one entitled to inherit it. So he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this, and he said, "You have already been rewarded for your charity. Now take it as your inheritance."

وحدثني مالك، أنه بلغه

أن رجلا من الأنصار من بني الحارث بن الخزرج تصدق على أبويه بصدقة، فهلكا، فورث ابنهما المال، وهو عقل، فسأل عن ذلك رسول الله ﷺ فقال: قد أجرت في صدقتك، وخذها بميراثك.
