Kathir bin Farqad reported that he asked Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm about a man who sells food to another man for gold to be paid at a later date, and then buys dates with that gold before he has actually taken possession of it. Abu Bakr disapproved of this and forbade it.
