The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling fruit until it shows signs of ripening.Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, what does it mean that it shows signs of ripening?"He replied, "When it turns red."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Consider this. If Allah withholds the fruit, on what grounds would one of you take his brother's money?"
و حدثني عن مالك عن حميد الطويل
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن بيع الثمار حتى تزهي فقيل له يا رسول الله وما تزهي فقال حين تحمر وقال رسول الله ﷺ أرأيت إذا منع الله الثمرة فبم يأخذ أحدكم مال أخيه
