Ibrahim bin Uqba asked Saeed bin Musayab about nursing, and Saeed replied, "Whatever occurs within the first two years, even if it is a single drop, establishes the bond that forbids marriage. Whatever comes after the two years is merely food that the child eats."Ibrahim bin Uqba said, "I then asked Urwa bin Zubayr, and he said the same as Saeed bin Musayab."

أنه سأل سعيد بن المسيب عن الرضاعة فقال سعيد كل ما كان في الحولين وإن كانت قطرة واحدة فهو يحرم وما كان بعد الحولين فإنما هو طعام يأكله قال إبراهيم بن عقبة ثم سألت عروة بن الزبير فقال مثل ما قال سعيد بن المسيب
