Any man who swears an oath to abstain from his wife is to be summoned once the four months have passed, and he must either divorce her or return to her. No divorce takes effect against him merely by the passing of the four months, not until he is called to account.

أيما رجل آلى من امرأته فإنه إذا مضت الأربعة الأشهر وقف حتى يطلق أو يفيء ولا يقع عليه طلاق إذا مضت الأربعة الأشهر حتى يوقف
