Qasim bin Muhammad and Urwa bin Zubayr both used to say concerning a man who has four wives and then pronounces an irrevocable divorce upon one of them, that he may marry again if he wishes, and need not wait until her waiting period has ended.
وحدثني عن مالك،
أن القاسم بن محمد، وعروة بن الزبير كانا يقولان في الرجل يكون عنده أربع نسوة، فيطلق إحداهن البتة: أنه يتزوج إن شاء، ولا ينتظر أن تنقضي عدتها.
