Saeed bin Musayab reported,

Umar bin Khattab refused to grant inheritance to any of the non-Arabs, except to one who had been born among the Arabs.

وحدثني عن مالك، عن الثقة عنده: أنه

سمع سعيد بن المسيب يقول

أبى عمر بن الخطاب أن يورث أحدا من الأعاجم؛ إلا أحدا ولد في العرب.
