Umar bin Khattab asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about kalalah, the case of one who dies leaving neither parent nor child, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him, "What suffices you concerning that is the verse revealed in the summer, at the end of Surah Nisa."
حدثني يحيى عن مالك
أن عمر بن الخطاب سأل رسول الله ﷺ عن الكلالة فقال له رسول الله ﷺ يكفيك من ذلك الآية التي أنزلت في الصيف آخر سورة النساء
