Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

Saad was asked about a trained dog that kills the game it catches.He replied, "Eat it, even if only a single piece of it remains."

عن سعد بن أبي وقاص

أنه سئل عن الكلب المعلم إذا قتل الصيد. فقال سعد: كل، وإن لم تبق إلا بضعة واحدة.
