Abdullah bin Umar reported,

He used to say concerning a trained dog, "Eat whatever it catches for you, whether it kills the game or not."

أنه كان يقول في الكلب المعلم: كل ما أمسك عليك؛ إن قتل، وإن لم يقتل.
