When Abdullah bin Umar washed himself after janaba, he would begin by pouring water over his right hand and washing it. Then he washed his private parts, rinsed his mouth, and cleared his nose. Then he washed his face and sprinkled water into his eyes. Then he washed his right hand, then his left. Then he washed his head, and then he bathed, pouring the water over himself.

أن عبد الله بن عمر كان إذا اغتسل من الجنابة بدأ فأفرغ على يده اليمنى فغسلها ثم غسل فرجه ثم مضمض واستنثر ثم غسل وجهه ونضح في عينيه ثم غسل يده اليمنى ثم اليسرى ثم غسل رأسه ثم اغتسل وأفاض عليه الماء
