The Prophet ﷺ said, "The prayer is interrupted by a black dog and a menstruating woman."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن خلاد الباهلي حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد حدثنا شعبة حدثنا قتادة حدثنا جابر بن زيد
عن النبي ﷺ قال يقطع الصلاة الكلب الأسود والمرأة الحائض
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on what invalidates prayer, no. 703, from the hadith of Yahya, by this route, and Ibn Khuzayma, Ibn Hibban, and others graded it sahih. It is not harmed by the fact that some narrators reported it as a stopped narration (mawquf).
