Abu Juhayfa reported,

The matter of fortunes was being discussed in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in prayer. One man said, "So-and-so's fortune lies in horses." Another said, "So-and-so's fortune lies in camels." Another said, "So-and-so's fortune lies in sheep." And another said, "So-and-so's fortune lies in slaves."When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, raising his head from the final bowing, he said, "Our Lord, all praise is Yours, filling the heavens, filling the earth, and filling whatever else You will. Allah, none can withhold what You have granted, and none can grant what You have withheld, and no possessor of fortune can benefit from his fortune against You."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew out his voice when saying "fortune," so that they would know that the matter is not as they were saying.
