We prayed the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Some people left afterward, while others remained behind to perform additional worship. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came hurrying back, out of breath, with his garment lifted above his knees, and said, "Rejoice! This is your Lord, who has opened one of the gates of heaven and is boasting of you to the angels, saying, 'Look at My servants. They have completed one obligatory prayer and are waiting for the next.'"
حدثنا أحمد بن سعيد الدارمي حدثنا النضر بن شميل حدثنا حماد عن ثابت عن أبي أيوب

Its isnad is sahih. Ahmad recorded it, 2/186, 187, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, with this chain, and Busiri graded it sahih. It has a non-detracting defect, and it has a corroborating narration in Ahmad, 22/208, though its isnad is daif.
