I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him the like of it in Paradise."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا أبو بكر الحنفي حدثنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر عن أبيه عن محمود بن لبيد
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من بنى لله مسجدا بنى الله له مثله في الجنة
Muslim reported it in "Mosques," chapter on the merit of building mosques and encouragement to do so, hadith no. 533, from the hadith of Abdul-Hameed with the same chain.
