He reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the afternoon prayer while the sun was still high and bright, so that a person could travel to al-Awali with the sun still high in the sky.
حدثنا محمد بن رمح أنبأنا الليث بن سعد عن ابن شهاب
أنه أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يصلي العصر والشمس مرتفعة حية فيذهب الذاهب إلى العوالي والشمس مرتفعة
