We complained to the Prophet ﷺ about the heat of the scorching ground, but he did not grant us relief.
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا معاوية بن هشام عن سفيان عن زيد بن جبير عن خشف بن مالك عن أبيه
شكونا إلى النبي ﷺ حر الرمضاء فلم يشكنا
[Sahih] Bazzar (Kashf) 370, abridged by Ibn Hajar 227, narrated it from Abu Kurayb and others with this wording, and he said, "We do not know of anyone who narrated it with this chain except Muawiya, from Sufyan Thawri" 162, and I did not find an explicit statement that he heard it, and it has another defect, and it has supporting narrations, one of which is the preceding hadith.
