The Prophet ﷺ said, "Pray the dawn prayer when the light of dawn is clear, for that brings a greater reward," or "a greater reward for you."
حدثنا محمد بن الصباح أنبأنا سفيان بن عيينة عن ابن عجلان سمع عاصم بن عمر بن قتادة وجده بدري يخبر عن محمود بن لبيد
أن النبي ﷺ قال أصبحوا بالصبح فإنه أعظم للأجر أو لأجركم
[sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud, Prayer, chapter on the time of Fajr, no. 424, from the hadith of Sufyan, and Yahya followed him in agreement, as recorded by Nasai, 1/272, no. 548. The hadith has other routes of transmission, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih.
