Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding the verse "and the recitation of dawn, indeed the recitation of dawn is witnessed" [Isra 17:78], "It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the angels of the day."

[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it, 2/474, from Asbat through him, and Tirmidhi, no. 3135, from the hadith of Ubayd bin Asbat with his chain from Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه , through him, and he said, hasan sahih, and Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 1474, and Hakim, 1/210, 211, and Dhahabi. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Bukhari and others, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 3/53–54.
