I saw the Prophet ﷺ carrying Husayn bin Ali on his shoulder, with his saliva flowing down onto him.
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن حماد بن سلمة عن محمد بن زياد
رأيت النبي ﷺ حامل الحسين بن علي على عاتقه ولعابه يسيل عليه
[Its chain is sahih] Ahmad reported it (2/447) from Waki with the same wording, except that he said "Hasan bin Ali," which is the more likely reading. Busiri said, "This is a sahih chain."
