The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the courtyard of this mosque and called out at the top of his voice, "The mosque is not permitted for anyone in a state of major impurity, nor for a menstruating woman."

دخل رسول الله ﷺ صرحة هذا المسجد فنادى بأعلى صوته إن المسجد لا يحل لجنب ولا لحائض

[Its chain is daif] Mizzi transmitted it in Tahzib Kamal (27/271, 272), in the biography of Mahduj, from the hadith of Abu Naeem in full.Abu Khattab and his sheikh are both unknown (Taqrib). The author of Zawaid graded the hadith daif, and the hadith of Abu Dawud (332) makes it unnecessary.
