The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not perform ablution after the ritual bath for major impurity.

Its isnad is daif. Tirmidhi transmitted it in Tahara, chapter on what has been said about wudu after ghusl, no. 107, from Ismail bin Musa, with this chain, and he said, hasan sahih. Ibn Sayyid al-Nas strengthened it, and Hakim graded it sahih, as did Dhahabi, as mentioned in Nayl al-Maqsud (250).Abu Ishaq is a mudallis and he narrated with an'ana (using "an" without confirming direct transmission).
