Husayn bin Ali urinated on the lap of the Prophet ﷺ, so I said, "Messenger of Allah, give me your garment and put on another one."He replied, "The urine of a male child is only sprinkled with water, while the urine of a female child is washed."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك بن حرب عن قابوس بن أبي المخارق
بال الحسين بن علي في حجر النبي ﷺ فقلت يا رسول الله أعطني ثوبك والبس ثوبا غيره فقال إنما ينضح من بول الذكر ويغسل من بول الأنثى

[Sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Purification, chapter on the urine of a boy getting on clothing, hadith no. 375, from the hadith of Abu Ahwas, and Ibn Khuzayma, Hakim, and Dhahabi graded it sahih.
