The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about prostatic fluid. He said, "It requires ablution, while semen requires a full bath."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا هشيم عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى
سئل رسول الله ﷺ عن المذي فقال فيه الوضوء وفي المني الغسل
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, Book of Purification, chapter on what has been said about semen and prostatic fluid, no. 114, from the hadith of Hushaym with this same wording. He said, hasan sahih. Yazid bin Abu Ziyad is daif, as stated in Taqrib and other sources (see also nos. 1471, 2116), but his hadith has sahih corroborating narrations. See the hadith that follows.
