[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in Kitab al-Tahara, in the chapter on what has been said about sprinkling water after wudu, no. 50, from the hadith of Salm bin Qutayba, and he said, this is a gharib hadith, and I heard Muhammad (Bukhari) say, Hasan bin Ali al-Hashimi is munkar al-hadith.
