I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ running his fingers through his beard.

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in his chapter on Purification, in the section on running the fingers through the beard, hadith 29, 30, from the hadith of Sufyan. Abdul-Kareem is daif (according to Taqrib), and Saeed bin Abu Aruba engaged frequently in tadlis (also according to Taqrib). See also hadith 175. So the chain of transmission is daif, but the following hadith serves in its place.
