The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the verse "the Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds" [Mutaffifin 83:6], "One of them will stand in his sweat up to the middle of his ears."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عيسى بن يونس وأبو خالد الأحمر عن ابن عون عن نافع
عن النبي ﷺ {يوم يقوم الناس لرب العالمين} قال يقوم أحدهم في رشحه إلى أنصاف أذنيه
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Raqaiq, in the chapter "The Statement of Allah Most High, 'Do those not think that they will be resurrected'..." hadith no. 6531, from the hadith of Isa bin Yunus. And Muslim narrated it in the Book of Paradise and Its Delights, in the chapter on the description of the Day of Resurrection, may Allah help us bear its terrors, hadith no. 2862/60, from Ibn Abu Shayba, with the same chain.
