The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent."
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا زيد بن الحباب حدثنا علي بن مسعدة عن قتادة
قال رسول الله ﷺ كل بني آدم خطاء وخير الخطائين التوابون
[Its isnad is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in Sifat Qiyamah, in the chapter on the believer regarding his sins as grave, from Ibn Mani, through him, and he said, it is unique. Hakim graded it sahih (4/244), but Dhahabi criticized him, saying, he is lenient, referring to Ali bin Masada (Ahmad also narrated it, hadith 2499, from Ali bin Masada). It also has another flaw, which is the an'ana of Qatada, mentioned previously, hadith 175.
