[Hasan] Tirmidhi transmitted it in his tafsir of the Quran, in the chapter on Surah Hujurat, no. 3271, from the hadith of Yunus in this wording, and he said, hasan gharib sahih. Its flaw is the ambiguous transmission (an'ana) of Qatada, mentioned earlier at no. 175. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Qudai's Musnad Shihab, 1/46, no. 20, and in Nasai, 6/64, no. 3227, and elsewhere.
