One day, hot food was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he ate it. When he finished, he said, "Praise be to Allah. No hot food has entered my stomach for such and such a time."

أتي رسول الله ﷺ يوما بطعام سخن فأكل فلما فرغ قال الحمد لله ما دخل بطني طعام سخن منذ كذا وكذا

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it, 7/280, from the hadith of Suwayd, with slight variation, and Busiri and Hafiz in Fath al-Bari, 11/293, graded it hasan. Ibn Turkmani said, this chain meets the standard of Muslim. Suwayd's status was mentioned previously, h. 1036, 2373, and Amash used ambiguous transmission wording, h. 178, if the chain to him is sahih.
